Susan Coolidge: "New Every Morning"

Every day is a fresh beginning,
Listen my soul to the glad refrain.
And, in spite of all sorrows
                                            And older sinning,
                                            Troubles forecasted
                                            And possible pain,
Take heart with the day and begin again.
