Robert Frost: "Dust of Snow"

                                                    The way a crow
                                                    Shook down on me
                                                    The dust of snow
                                                    From a hemlock tree

                                                    Has given my heart
                                                    A change of mood
                                                    And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.

"Dust of Snow" by Robert Frost. from The Voice of the Poet: Robert Frost (Random House Audiobooks, 2003). Text as presented on the Poetry Foundation.

  1. I recall having copied this poem out longhand from a collected Frost at the tender age of eleven. One of the very first poems that I liked! Thank you for posting it!
